Dog Boarding
During your pups stay they will receive ample potty breaks, at least 2 20-minute walks per day, one on one playtime sessions with staff after normal business hours and an enrichment snack. Your pup may pack a limited set of belongings including: Pre-portioned food for the entire length of stay (please include any daily medications or supplements to their portion) , 2 toy/bone items, treats, 1 blanket/towel/cloth item and 1 bed. We do have plenty of comfort items (towels, blankets, beds and cots) we can offer to non-destructive dogs. Bringing personal items is at the owners risk, we will not be liable for destruction of personal items. However, if your dog destroys one of our suites, crates, cots or beds we will find the owner liable.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. If booking within 7 days of the desired start date we will require 100% payment at the time of booking.

Boarding Policy
Reservations:
2-night minimum for boarding services. Boarding will be evaluated and announced if available over major holidays when TDC day programs are closed. Owners must supply food for their dogs stay. Dogs may bring (in addition to food) a bag, 1 bed, 1 toy and a bag of treats. TDC is not liable for any personal belongings destroyed during their stay.
Refunds will not be issued for early pick-ups prior to the reserved end date of a boarding reservation. We kindly ask for your understanding that securing a reservation ensures a dedicated space within our facility. As such, any unused reserved dates remain unavailable to other clients.
Deposits:
If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so in advance. To receive a full refund of your deposit, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the start date and time of your reservation. Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the reservation will result in 50% of your deposit (equal to 25% of the total booking cost) being issued as store credit for future services. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Please contact us directly to inform us of your cancellation so we can assist with processing your deposit.Unaltered Dogs
We recommend all our dogs being spayed or neutered, but it is not mandatory. Unaltered dogs may be restricted from some of the larger group activities.
Last-minute reservations:
Requests for boarding a week prior to the start date will be charged in full for the booking upon acceptance. Cancellations must be made 48hrs prior to the start date or the whole deposit will be forfeited (see deposit section).
Cancellations:
We understand that things happen that cause plans to change. Once we have scheduled and confirmed your appointment, there is a cancellation window. The return of the deposit can go to the card on file or remain as a store credit in your Gingr account for future services.
- Cancellations within a 7days – 48hr window to the start date will forfeit 50% of the deposit made (25% of total boarding cost). This remains ONLY as a store credit.
- Cancellations prior to 7 days and the 48hr window will return the whole deposit.
- Cancellations 48hrs prior to the start day and time of the reservation will not receive any refund for the deposit. Please understand when a reservation is made we are saving a space in our facility, your last minute cancellation does not allow us ample time to fill that space.
Reservation confirmation:
Our System should show whether the boarding request has been accepted or denied.
Extended Absence:
In the event you have to be away longer than planned it is mandatory that we hear from you! We will only accept extensions of service by direct confirmation. Please also send any changes in writing to our email info@thedogcompany.dog. Extra charges will be made to the card on file as necessary.
Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, The Dog Company will contact you directly if changes to the reservation need to be made. Please have an alternate person on the Gingr profile that may pick up your dog in an emergency. The health and well being of your pet(s) is our utmost concern.
Other Boarding Information:
You are expected to provide all food & medicines necessary for the care of your animal as well as a detailed schedule for medicine administration. Medicine administration will have an extra charge If food needs to be provided an additional charge of $20 a day will be billed. Your dogs’ food must come pre portioned and labeled in Zip-loc bags for the entirety of their boarding stay. Your dog needs to be wearing a quick release collar with ID Tags and a leash. Your dog’s stay will be a very structured stay. We are a training company and will only do things to enhance the dogs calm state of mind and obedience.
We request at least two additional phone numbers for emergency contacts in addition to all owners.
Your dog may or may not be in contact with our personal dogs. If you do not purchase DayCare as an add on to your Boarding reservation, they may still be in our rotation if we are familiar with your dog.
Drop Off & Pick Up times are FIRM.
Drop off is Monday-Friday 8am-9am, Saturday 9-10am or in the evening if scheduled. Saturdays can be flexible but MUST be scheduled. NO SUNDAY DROP OFFS.
Pick up is Monday-Friday 8am-9am, or 6:30pm-7:30pm for an additional $30 charge. Saturdays and Sundays are 9am-10am but can be flexible and MUST be scheduled, anything after 10am is subjected to the evening pick up charge of $30.

Abandonment Clause:
If you cease communication past the designated pick up date/time scheduled for your dog, your rate of boarding will increase $150 a day with additional food charges as needed. If the dog remains past five days with no communication, we will assume you have abandoned your pet(s) and will be turning them over to the local Humane Society for Stray hold. “
